For immediate release
Today, Spanish insurance technology company Segurto has presented its new, revolutionary pay per drive car microinsurance at the FinTech World Forum in London.
From now on, car owners will be able to save between 30 to 75% on their car insurance depending on how often they drive and the distances they cover.
1. An easy to install localizer in the car controls how long the car is on the road and the distance covered. This way the car owner only pays insurance for the actual time spent on the road.
2. There is a minimum €1 per day fee when the car is parked for a full day.
3. There is a one-time €45 setup fee.
4. Drivers can monitor their spending through an easy to use app.
Mr. Fictional de la Rosa, Segurto’s CEO, explained the reasons for the company’s new take on car insurance:
“driving a car in the city has become quite expensive, but many still want to own one, even though they might only drive it on the weekends or on special occasions. This is where Segurto comes in. Insured drivers pay only on a per drive basis allowing them to save up to 75% off their regular car insurance.”
The new pay per drive insurance will go live in continental EU-countries starting on December 1st, 2100.
Car owners can register at www.segurto.com/pay-per-drive. The first 500 to complete registration will be able to do so without paying the €45 setup fee.
